On the 20th of November, 1998, the Russian Zarya module was launched to space. It became the beginning of one of humanity’s greatest efforts in the history of spaceflight, the International Space Station (ISS).

Today, over 20 years later, the 100-billion dollar project is the largest man-made object in space, with a mass of approximately 450 tons and dimensions of 103 by 51 by 73 meters (337 by 167 by 239 ft).

As of 2026, hundreds of astronauts and even space tourists from around the world have visited the ISS!

Created by space artist Sina Rathai, also known as Art of a Space Nerd, this A4 (21x29,7cm) fine art print on premium Hahnemühle paper with archival pigment ink faithfully reproduces every nuance of the original drawing — nearly indistinguishable from the hand-drawn piece itself.
