The Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) was a small electric vehicle that was used during several American Apollo missions to explore the Moon's surface. The LRV was developed in just 17 months by Boeing and got utilized during Apollo 15, 16, and 17. It had been an essential piece of equipment during the latter Apollo missions, as it allowed astronauts to travel much further from their landing site than previously possible.
