Space Shuttle Sunrise - Fine Art & Flown Fragment
Space Shuttle Discovery just above Earth's atmosphere, silhouetted against the orange glow of an orbital sunrise: this vibrant watercolor by space artist Sina Rathai (@artofaspacenerd) is reproduced as a fine art print on premium Hahnemühle paper with archival pigment ink. Each 21 × 15 cm print is hand-signed and hand-inscribed by the artist.
The display includes a genuine fragment of flown payload bay liner from Discovery's mission STS-82. Launched on February 11, 1997, it was the second Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission: over 10 days and 149 Earth orbits, the crew carried out five spacewalks to upgrade Hubble's instruments and replace aging hardware.
Each flown piece is unique – size and shape may vary. Available framed or as an unframed print in a protective folder.
